When I was in high school, I remember a conversation I had with my school counselor that changed the trajectory of my life forever.

 

As I sat in her office passionately professing my dream of having a successful career in film, TV, and theatre, (which I had been working towards from the moment I discovered my love for performing), she could see how much this meant to me. She asked me a single question. ​

 

"What are your plans to get there?"

 

​ I told her I knew I had the nerve and passion for the job and if I found myself in the "right room" it would all come together for me!

She asked me again. ​

"Perfect! What are your plans to get there?"

​ I felt a pang in my gut. 

 

The truth was evident. I had no idea how I was going to get there, and honestly, I was actively avoiding that part of the thought process out of fear of failure. Upon acknowledging this new revelation, I vowed never to leave my Destiny in the hands of fear again.  ​ I began developing practical ways of approaching the things I desired. No more guessing, no more waiting. Only motivated action.

 

It was time to take my Destiny back into my own hands. ​

​

Here's what happened:

1.) I earned a full-ride scholarship to Jefferson State (the first college I applied for)

2.) Graduated Summa Cum Laude from that college and became the first student to win 3 of my college's honor awards for leadership, performance, and passion.

3.) I transferred to the University of Montevallo to major in Musical Theatre and landed two lead roles in my first two semesters (the exact ones I set my sights on)

4.) Secured a once-in-a-lifetime summer internship in The Hamptons, NY where I made my professional acting debut under the direction of Seinfeld's Jason Alexander. 

5.) Signed with my first Talent Agent in 2023 and have been auditioning ever since.

 

​ ​ I credit ALL of these experiences to a goal-oriented, happiness-centered, optimistic, and deeply personal practical mode of operation I spent years hand-crafting for myself, to help myself. And now I want to help You.  ​
